Waldorf Education

In 1919 Rudolph Steiner was approached by parents in Waldorf-Astoria, Germany who asked him to start a school for their children to help heal their children from WWI. The result was a holistic education serving students regardless of social class, gender, or ability. The schools in Germany were eventually forced to close but by then the ideas had spread to Europe and the United States.

Today Waldorf schools are found all over the world.
