We appreciate everyone's patience as we work to finalize building plans to open August 2026! We have been working hard with an excellent team to find a building location that is both affordable and accessible for our families. Our plan has always included the option for our families to use the UTA FrontRunner and for our school bus to pick up and drop off our students at the Orem FrontRunner location. Our later start time of 9am-4pm is also purposeful, not only to better meet the rhythms of the high school student, but to relieve the burden of leaving excessively early for our families who will be commuting longer distances.
The location we have selected will start with a two-year lease; this allows us to solidify our enrollment numbers to be in a better position for purchasing a building for year 3 (the 2028-2029 school year), as well as ensure that the site works for our families. This site is a 10-15 minute bus ride from the Orem FrontRunner Station* and only 10 minutes from I-15 via the University Parkway exit. Please understand that we are still negotiating the lease and hope to have it finalized in January 2026; we will be able to take over occupancy in July 2026.
Now for the much anticipated location: Our future home is planned to be the Utah County Academy of Sciences (UCAS) building located at 2121 N 550 W, Provo, UT 84604, behind the Walmart Neighborhood Market just off of University Parkway.
This building has some amazing features. The classrooms are all on the second floor and have large windows with a panoramic view of Mount Timpanogos and Y-Mountain. The first floor has a cafeteria with a full commercial kitchen and a large multipurpose room for gatherings, PE/Movement, and performances. There is plenty of parking for staff and student drivers, and is located within a block from the Provo River Trail.
After finalizing the lease agreement early next year, we will be posting announcements of Parent Evenings where families can come tour the school and learn more about our program as we prepare to open next fall. Watch our website and social media platforms for updated information.
